当ページにお越し下さり、ありがとうございます。
書道家の龍溪(りょうけい)です。
今は主に、甲骨文字の作品を書いています。

I'm a Japanese calligrapher, Ryohkei.
Now, mainly I'm writing oracle bone script.
書道も歴史が長いので、いろんな書体があります。
細かく分けると全部で10種類ほど。
一番古い書体が、3500年ほど前に古代中国で
使われた甲骨文字です。
Calligraphy has many scripts because of its long history.
If you classify them finely, they are about ten kinds.
The oldest is “oracle bone script”, which has been
used in ancient China about 3500 years ago.
昔は紙がなかったので、亀の甲羅や動物の骨に
文字を刻みました。
甲羅の「甲」と動物の「骨」の2文字から、
「甲骨文字」という名前がついています。
Because there was no paper in ancient times,
every character was carved on turtle’s shells
and animal’s bones.
That is why, the name of ”甲骨文字(kou kotsu moji)”
is from ”甲(kou)=shell” and “骨(kotsu)=bone”.
刻まれている内容は主に、占いの結果です。
「明日は敵に攻め込むべきか」とか、
「明日の天気はどうか」など、
政治判断から、今の天気予報に当たることまで、
色々なことを占いで決めていたようです。
The contents carved on them are mainly results
of fortune telling.
It seems that ancient Chinese people have decided
various things by fortune telling from the political
decision to a weather forecast, such as
“Should we attack the enemy tomorrow?”
“How is the weather tomorrow?”
これから様々な漢字を甲骨文字で書いていきます
ので、どうぞよろしくお願いします。
From now on, I'm going to write and upload
many kanji in oracle bone script.
